These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of CapReceipts, including its iPhone app, backend services, OCR features, and AI-assisted receipt questions.

Using the service

You may use CapReceipts only in compliance with applicable law. You are responsible for the content you scan, store, or submit through the service.

Subscriptions and quotas

Some features may be limited by free quotas or require an active subscription. Subscription billing is handled by Apple through the App Store. Access levels, quota policies, and feature availability may change over time.

Acceptable use

• Do not use CapReceipts to violate the law.
• Do not attempt to abuse, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service.
• Do not use automated methods to bypass quotas, subscriptions, or rate limits.

AI and OCR outputs

OCR and AI outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing important receipt details before relying on them for tax, reimbursement, legal, accounting, or compliance purposes.

Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of CapReceipts at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CapReceipts is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if we believe your use violates these Terms or harms the service, other users, or third parties.

Changes

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of CapReceipts after a change means the updated Terms apply.
